Epic Games publishes the Salary Transparency and Equality Report

In compliance with Law n.º 14,611/2023, Epic Games is posting the Transparency and Remuneration Criteria Report prepared by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (“MTE”) based on 2022 employee data from the eSocial system. Epic Games was not involved in any data validation or the creation of the report and, therefore, cannot verify the information in it. Further, the MTE did not specify the positions they considered for the occupation groups which they analyzed. This data is not reflective of the composition of the Epic Games Brasil Studio.

AQUIRIS is Joining Epic and Becoming Epic Games Brasil

Today we are announcing that Brazil-based game studio, AQUIRIS, is joining Epic Games. This acquisition builds upon an investment that Epic made in AQUIRIS in early 2022.

The AQUIRIS team will be the foundation of Epic Games Brasil, the first Epic studio in Latin America. Founded in 2007, AQUIRIS is best known for its award-winning titles including Wonderbox and the Horizon Chase franchise. Headquartered in the city of Porto Alegre, AQUIRIS’ talented team of developers will join Epic Games to create groundbreaking content and social experiences within Fortnite.

Epic Games Invests in Brazilian Studio AQUIRIS

AQUIRIS today announced an investment from Epic Games, the interactive entertainment company and provider of 3D engine technology behind Fortnite and Unreal Engine. The companies will also enter a multi-game publishing agreement for future unannounced multiplatform games. AQUIRIS, best known for its award-winning work on titles like Wonderbox and Horizon Chase, celebrates its 15th anniversary this year. This strategic partnership and investment from Epic Games will help shape the next 15 years.
